New Zealand…Rocks!!!
It’s been a long time since my last post. I apologize, but in my defense I have never been so busy in my entire life! Anyway, you probably don’t care about all that. I am back and hopefully I can keep up a steady flow of posts for you all.
Friends of the site, Charlie ASH just sent us some tracks all the way from their home in Auckland, New Zealand. They have a refreshingly upbeat synthpop/indie-electro style complete with vintage synths, guitars, and a female voice out front. Reminds me a lot of the older new wave bands, but with a little more electro mixed in. If you like what you hear, they have a full-length album coming out in August ‘09 on LOOP Recordings.

Next up we have Fiord’s remix of Charlie ASH’s track. The Fiord duo is also from New Zealand. Don’t expect any type of banger remix here. This is really low key and relaxing. I can deal with that though, definitely in one of those relaxed anti-banger phases lately. Check it out…

I know what you mean Shes Wasted, it does get old, but then after a few drinks I start to crave the banger tracks again. I guess it’s a love/hate relationship.
