Jacuzzi Killers

This remix of Swiss duo Division Kent’s “L’Heure Bleue” ended up in our inbox earlier this week, and its been on heavy rotation ever since.  Check them out on their myspace page, their originals actually remind me a little of LCD Soundsystem (not sure why) with ambient female vocals.

The remixer who goes by the name of Keenhouse, is apparently an Indo-German (like Zack Morris?) producer who resides in LA.  I checked out his webpage, and he seems like an extremely talented musician with a bunch of different projects going on, most sounding nothing like this remix.  If I had to describe his sound, I liken it to what would happen if you gave Danger some sedatives, Zero 7 some speed, and had them both play nice with The Twelves.  Hopefully we hear more from him in the future, but in the meantime, here is one of his originals, titled “Deep In The Forest”:
